YouTube Channel URL Change

As a result of YouTube updating their Custom URL policies, we were able to change our YouTube channel’s URL to the simpler to remember: http://www.youtube.com/scionesports or just youtube.com/scionesports for short. The channel’s proper name remains “Scion eSports” which is how it will come up in search results.

This transition will happen seamlessly for you if you are subscribed to us with your Google Account, but any links to our YouTube channel will need to be updated manuallly. We’re in the process of updating all the links we have all over the interwebs to http://www.youtube.com/scionesports, so if you find one that is broken let us know and we’ll get it caught up.

Towards the same end we also changed our Facebook @username from sciongorilla to scionesports and our main Twitch.tv channel name from sciongorilla to scionesports.

This is part of an overall effort to unify our branding across all media. The final phase of this transition will be in early 2020 when the Twitch.tv channel ScionGorilla is released and we can then switch our second channel (currently scionbteam) to sciongorilla. Then all will be as it should be! Thanks for sticking with us while we get it all straight!
